How am I referred to a bulk billing psychologist?

Make an appointment with your GP to discuss your issues and let them know you would like to see a Me Time psychologist for help with your situation. Your GP will assess the main issues of concern and initiate a Mental Health Care Plan where appropriate. You will need to bring a copy of your referral letter, care plan and Medicare card to your first session.

Medicare currently allows for ten sessions per calendar year. You will attend your GP after six sessions to undertake a review of your care plan and will be able to access the further four sessions if appropriate.

You are also able to access Me Time services as covered by private health insurance and can discuss rebate entitlements with your insurance provider prior to attending your first session.

Private session fees are applicable for clients as an alternate method to access without a Mental Health Care Plan or private health insurance.
